It's a stunningly beautiful, amazing sounding, incredibly comfortable guitar by Robert Ruck.  After waiting so long, I was afraid I'd built up crazy expectations, but it's still blowing my mind.

It looks like the new guitar is going to be ready late June.  Robert Ruck composite top, raised board, Madagascar rosewood, custom set-up. I can hardly wait.

Steve Paxton is coming back to the helm of CSF's CMP.  This is a truly unique program, so I'm very happy it's up-and-running again. and looking forward to this fall.  Returning students get 35% lower tuition.  And a brownie.

To celebrate, I'm bringing Daniel Weston and Stuart Green to do a three-part split bill with me July 30th, and Gabriel Ayala for two shows late August!

The new CD is mastered and ready to release as soon as the graphic design is done! A giant thanks to Scott Cadenasso for a great job and a wonderful time at Joots studio.

I'm looking forward to playing with the Desert Chorale - I always enjoy their performances during the summer. Three performances: July 27th and August 5th and 10th. Details in the Calendar.

I'll be doing a little New Mexico and Colorado tour from July 29th to August 2nd with guitarists Daniel Weston and Stuart Green.  We did this split-bill series a couple of years ago and had a blast.  Details in the calendar.

Just got a note from luthier Robert Ruck that he's started making me a new guitar!  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have arguably the best guitar maker in the world build me a custom instrument.

Yesterday, I just finished editing the last track for the upcoming CD "Music of Spain."  I'm excited to hear the final mastering soon.  Two new recording projects include some of my favorite Latin American composers: Piazzolla and Gismonti. I love my job.
