The evening will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Cocktail Hour (cash bar) followed by dinner at 6:00 pm. During dinner, guests will be able to enjoy guitar musicperformed by the acclaimed Roberto Capocchi. Dinner will include salad, rosemary roasted chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus and corn, bread and butter and strawberry mousse. Ice tea and coffee will be served as part of the meal.
The main event of the evening will be “Bastien and Bastienne” a one-act comedic opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and directed by Robert Woods. Starring in the opera are Karliz de Marco as Bastienne, Andre Garcia-Nuthmann as Bastien and Devin Barad as Mr. Colas. Linda King will accompany the opera on the piano.
Special VIP tables will be sold at $500 a table (each table seats 8). VIPs will have front row seats and get a special mention in the program.

This is my first solo concert as part of the UWC faculty - I've been looking forward to playing the for a while.
Dwan Light Sanctuary is a stunning building designed by Virginia Dwan, Charles Ross and Laban Wingert. Its orientation and the alignment of the prisms on the ceiling and walls create interacting spectrums all over the interior. Arrive early - before sundown - and check it out. Roberto Capocchi wants to be a guitar player when he grows up. In the meanwhile, he teaches at Adams State College in Alamosa, New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, and United world College in Montezuma, therefore living in his car most of the school year.
Born and trained in Brazil, Roberto attended grad school at the University of Arizona before moving to Santa Fe about ten years ago. He has a couple of CDs released in collaboration with other musicians and has a solo album recorded and ready launch as soon as he gets to it. The first half will be the women's choir singing Benjamin Britten's "Ceremony of Carols" and two Christmas pieces by Santa Fe resident Linda Rice Beck. The second half will be the entire choir plus guitar, and percussion and bass, performing the Missa Criolla. The program ends with two Christmas pieces by William Mathias.
